You have fallen or somehow entered a Bog of Eternal Stench. The awful smell permeates your clothes, skin and very being. You stink of the worst thing imaginable to any creature that senses it. Treat this smell as if it was a natural strong odour when deciding if a creature can sense it.
Other than smelling the absolute worst you also get
- Disadvantage on any Persuasion check
- Disadvantage on any Stealth check against creatures that can smell
- Advantage on Intimidation checks
The smell cannot be masked or washed off. Only a wish spell can remove the stench
