Cover Move Image
Prerequisite: Constitution score of 14 or higher and have equipped a shield
 
  • This feat is called "Cover Move"
  • Can be used a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus
  • Resets on a short rest
  • Can only be used as a reaction, when an ally is attacked
  • Allows the user to leap to an ally within half their speed
  • Gives the user +1 AC until the end of the reaction
  • User loses half their speed until the end of their next turn
  • If the user is hit while using this feat, they take an extra damage die.

 

The "Cover Move" feat allows you to quickly and bravely leap to the aid of an ally who is under attack. You can use this feat a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and it resets on a short rest. This feat can only be used as a reaction when an ally is attacked and allows you to leap to their side within half of your speed. This action grants you a +1 bonus to your AC until the end of the reaction, but also causes you to lose half of your speed until the end of your next turn. However, if you are hit while using this feat, you will take an extra damage die. This feat represents your willingness to put yourself in harm's way to protect your allies.
