You have died. The end came...and then it went. Through some magic, or perhaps a curse, you have been brought back from beyond the brink and now live again. Your journey was a traumatic one and has left you scarred. Physically perhaps, but your worst scars lie within where none can see. Your memories are gone, replaced only by fleeting nightmares of the land beyond. Fortunately, you usually remember little of these once you awake, but no terrors of the mortal world can compare to the horrors that await you each night. Your eternal rest was interrupted, and you will rest no more.
The following effects take place:
- You lose all memories before you were brought back to life.
- Each long rest you must make a DC 15 saving throw. On a failed save, the nightmares keep you from rest and you gain a point of exhaustion.
- You have seen horrors beyond any that exist in life. You are immune to the frightened condition
The first two effects can only be removed by Greater Restoration or similar.
