You have learnt to modify your own body with magic and artifice, to improve over your flesh with metal.
Over the course of one hour, which can be done as part of a short or long rest, you can incorporate a magic item onto your own body. You incorporate it into a mechanical body part, such as a prosthetic limb, or you may transmogrify one of your limbs or body parts into being artificial during a long rest. The magic item must also be one that fits within that body part.
You can have up to a number magic items incorporated into your body this way equal to your proficiency bonus. You can’t be disarmed of a magic item incorporated this way, and you may outwardly extend or retract them as a bonus action on your turn.
As long as you have one or more magic items incorporated into your body this way, you count as a Construct in addition to your other creature types, and at the end of a short or long rest, roll a number of d8s equal to the number of magic items incorporated into your body: you gain temporary hit points equal to the result + your Constitution modifier.
