Whether through extraneous means or being bestowed the power by a dragon itself, you are imbued with a powerful and dangerous breath weapon of draconic origins.

As a Bonus Action, if you spend a number of Hit Points equal to your level (to a maximum of 7), you gain the following ability for 1 minute:

When you take the Attack Action on your turn, you can replace one of your attacks per turn with one of two exhalation attacks of magical energy:

  • Recharge (5-6): Either a 15-foot cone or a 30-foot line that is 5 feet wide. Each creature in that area must make a Dexterity Saving Throw against a DC equal to 8 + your Constitution modifier + your Proficiency Bonus. If used this way, on a failed save, a creature takes 2d8 damage of the type determined by the origin of this power and they are slowed for 10 seconds without requiring concentration. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage and resist being slowed.
    • This damage and slow effect increases when you reach the following character levels: 5th level (3d8), 11th level (4d8, 20 seconds), and 17th level (5d8, 30 seconds).
  • You lob a viscous ball of energy-infused bile at a single target that you can see within 30ft, using your Constitution modifier to make the attack. On a hit the target takes 2d6 points of the damage type determined by the origin of this power. This damage increases when you reach the following character levels: 5th level (3d6), 11th level (4d6), and 17th level (5d6).

You may reactivate this ability as many times as your HP allows. Your Hit Points cannot be dropped below 0 by using this ability, and the damage taken from this ability cannot be reduced by resistances or immunity, but can be reduced by external magical sources (such as the Transfer Suffering ability of the Empathy Cleric Domain as seen in Critical Role.)
