Cockatrice's Gift

You have developed traits similar to those possessed by a cockatrice, granting you the following benefits:

• Increase your Dexterity or Constitution by 1, to a maximum of 20.
• When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can use your bonus action to force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier). On a failed save, the creature begins to turn to stone and is restrained. It must repeat the saving throw at the end of its next turn. On a success, the effect ends. On a failure, the creature is petrified for 24 hours. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
