You have developed traits similar to those possessed by a gibbering mouther, granting you the following benefits:
Aberrant Ground. At the start of your turn, you can choose to reduce your speed to 20 feet and cause the ground within 10 feet of you to become dough-like difficult terrain until the start of your next turn. Each creature that starts its turn in that area must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus) or have its speed reduced to 0 until the start of your next turn.
Gibbering. As a bonus action, you can start babbling incoherently until the start of your next turn. While babbling you can't speak and creatures within 10 feet of you have disadvantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing. Each creature that starts its turn within 20 feet of you and can hear your babbling must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus). On a failed save, the creature can’t take reactions until the start of its next turn and rolls a d8 to determine what it does during its turn. On a 1 to 4, the creature does nothing. On a 5 or 6, the creature takes no action or bonus action and uses all its movement to move in a randomly determined direction. On a 7 or 8, the creature makes a melee attack against a randomly determined creature within its reach or does nothing if it can’t make such an attack.
Blinding Spittle. As a bonus action, you can hurl a chemical glob at a point within 15 feet of you. The glob explodes in a blinding flash of light on impact. Each creature within 5 feet of the flash must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw (8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier) or be blinded until the end of your next turn. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
