You’ve manifested some of the power of a kraken, granting you the following benefits:
Ability Score Improvement. Increase your Strength or Constitution by 1, to a maximum of 20.
Aquatic Adaptation. You gain the ability to breath air and water and you gain a swimming speed equal to your walking speed.
Lightning Resistance. You gain resistance to lightning damage.
Freedom of Movement. You ignore difficult terrain, and magical effects can’t reduce your speed or cause you to be restrained. You can spend 5 feet of movement to escape from nonmagical restraints or a creature that has grappled you.
Kraken's Resilience. When you are hit by an attack that deals bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage, you can use your reaction to halve the attack’s damage against you. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Lightning Strike. As an action, you can cause lightning to strike a creature you can see within 120 feet of you. The target must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma modifier [your choice]). On a failed save, the target takes 4d10 lightning damage, or half as much on a successful one.
Kraken Form. As a bonus action, you can transform, for 1 minute. While transformed you gain the following benefits:
- If you are smaller than Large you become Large.
- You grow six tentacles, that you can use to make unarmed strikes. The following rules apply when making an unarmed strike with the tentacles:
- When you make an unarmed strike with the tentacles on your turn, your reach is 10 feet.
- You use your Strength modifier for attack and damage rolls made with the tentacles.
- On a hit, they deal 1d4 bludgeoning damage and the target becomes grappled by the tentacle (escape DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier).
- If the tentacle is already grappling a creature, you can instead fling the creature a number of feet up to your Strength score, if it is Medium or smaller.
- If a thrown target strikes a solid surface, the target takes 1d6 bludgeoning damage for every 10 feet it was thrown. If the target is thrown at another creature, that creature must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier) or take the same damage and if it is Large or smaller, be knocked prone.
- As an action, you can make an attack with each tentacle that isn't grappling a creature. A creature or an object can be targeted by only one tentacle.
Once you have used this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
