Choker's Prowess Image
Prerequisite: 4th level or higher

You have developed traits similar to those of a choker, granting you the following benefits:

Ability Score Improvement. Increase your Strength or Dexterity by 1, to a maximum of 20.

Choker Form. As a bonus action, you can transform or revert to your normal form. When you transform, your bones become flexible and your hands and feet become starfish-shaped, flexible, and covered with teeth-like, conical spikes. While transformed, the following changes apply:

  • You have an AC of 13 + your Dexterity modifier, while you aren't wearing armor.
  • You can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.
  • You can move through and occupy a space as narrow as 4 inches wide without squeezing. Though the equipment you are wearing or carrying may prevent you from doing so.
  • You have disadvantage on attack rolls made with a weapon.
  • You have two tentacles (what are your arms in your normal form). When you make an unarmed strike with a tentacle your reach is increased by 5 feet, and on a hit, you deal an additional 1d6 piercing damage. If the target is a Large or smaller creature, it is grappled (escape DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and you can’t use this tentacle on another target. If this attack is a critical hit, the target also can’t breathe or speak until the grapple ends.
