"Service to the gods will set a man apart from his peers." - A phrase attributed to the priests of Al'Jahar.
A man who serves his god will be known as such by the commonfolk and will be treated accordingly. Acolytes serving a god of the good alignment will be respected and gain advantage on persuasion checks with commoners and low-ranking guards. Prices on goods and services will typically be lowered by a small amount for such acolytes, and there is a chance that the people of a village/town/city will defer to such an acolyte for somewhat important decisions, such as judgements and sentencing of criminals.
Conversely, those acolytes who serve an evil-aligned god will find that the townsfolk will go out of their way to avoid them, and they will receive none of the benefits given to good-aligned acolytes. However, evil-aligned acolytes gain advantage on intimidation against guards and commoners, and will enjoy the freedom of bullying most common-folk as they are willing to tolerate most minor crimes except theft.

It's not a bad feat, but still it isn't at the perfect description of what is expected.
Any advice? Still trying to figure out how to keep it from being a broken feat for my lvl1 acolyte fighter.
