You have briefly studied many practical languages, and though you have not learned enough to fluently communicate in all of (if any of) the languages of the land, you can now handle the basics. You know words like: help, run, hide, quiet, attack, defend, food, water, sleep, shelter, ok, good, bad, and any other important words your dm decides are fair. You can use these words to try and form one or two word sentences. I.E. you enter a town of gnomes and cry out "RUN! HIDE!" to try and help them escape an incoming raid. You happen upon a tribe of dragonborn and beg for food and water pitifully. You are rescuing enslaved elves and as you enter the slave quarters with the keys to their shackles you tell them "Ok." while miming that you mean no harm while pointing to yourself saying "Good", and you tell them "quiet" as you free them.

Your DM determines which languages are prevalent enough to have this apply (I.E. you will probably not be able to use this feat in Fey or Celestial)
