Djinntouched

You have attracted the attention of a mighty djinn. You choose which kind of djinn and their respective damage type: bludgeoning (dao), thunder (djinni), fire (efreeti), or cold (marid). You gain the following benefits:

• Once during each of your turns when you hit with an attack roll, you can deal extra damage to the target equal to your proficiency bonus. The type of this damage is determined by the chosen type of djinn.
• As a reaction, when you would take damage of the chosen type, you gain resistance to to that damage type until the end of your next turn.
