Prerequisite: Requires the Action Surge feature.
As a veteran of battle, you've learned how to quickly ready yourself for a fight. You gain the following:
- Increase your Strength, Dexterity, or Constitution score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
- After expending your Action Surge, you may chose to forgo the extra action, and instead, use a number of non-movement bonus actions available to you equal to your Proficiency Bonus.

Posted Mar 1, 2023This is the feat version if a player wants the ability to address the Fighter classes oversaturation of bonus action buffs for their features to come online. This smooths the gameplay, allowing one to activate a large series of features and buffs at the start of battle instead of slowly over the course of battle.
Non-movement bonus actions is specified to prevent unintended use with rogue bonus action dash abilities or other similar features.
Offensive bonus actions and bonus actions that target an enemy are permitted to be in line with the power of a feat, however, this does not grant the ability to use the same offensive bonus action multiple times that round.
In actuality, this feat is made to fix what I believe should be a variant feature of the Fighter Class inherently available when unlocking Action Surge. My variant feature version I grant to my players does not grant stats and the text instead reads as follows:
"After expending your Action Surge, you may chose to forgo the extra action, and instead, use a number of bonus actions available to you equal to your Proficiency Bonus. These bonus actions cannot be movement abilities, target an enemy, or attack a target."
