Starting at 1st level, the curse laid upon you surges with power to protect you from death.
If you are reduced to 0 hit points, you can use your reaction to allow Azotl's curse to consume you. You are instead reduced to 1 hit point, the curse comes with a toll, the flesh rapidly rots off of your hand, leaving the skeleton intact.
Using this will give disadvantage on two handed weapons until the curse is reverted and you get the flesh back on your hand.
Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
