You gain proficiency in a skill that you and your DM agree is appropriate for your draconic ancestry (such as intimidation for Red, insight for Gold, or Arcana for Emerald). If you are already proficient in the skill you gain expertise instead. Some skills, such as athletics, perception, and stealth are appropriate for all varieties of dragons.
You become immune to magically induced sleep and paralysis. Your lifespan radically increases; Dragonwrougt descended from Chromatic dragons maximum lifespan is increased by 5 times to ~ 600 years. Those descended from Gem or Metallic dragons lifespan is increased by 10 times to ~1200 years.
