You have learned to tap into your own life force to fuel your spells. You can cast spells of 5th level or lower without expending a spell slot. Immediately after you cast the spell, roll 1d6 plus a number of d6s equal to the level of the spell, and reduce your hit points by the amount rolled. If you drop to 0 hp as a result of this reduction, you cannot use this feat again until you finish a long rest.
Spells that restore hit points cast through this feat are severely weakened, and always restore the minimum possible amount of hit points, rather than rolling.
