Racial Requirement: Air Genasi
Description: Because of your innate relationship with the Air itself, you now have the ability to see through Non-Magical fogs, mists, cloud and other gases without any penalty. If a target or enemy had a bonus/advantage against the Air Genasi due to being within the gaseous effect (like Cover or Stealth) that the Air Genasi could see if the cloud was not their, the target/enemy no longer gain that benefit. However, if the effect is created by magic, the Air Genasi can see up to 10 feet from the point of where the Genasi is.
Example 1: If the Level 2 Darkness spell is cast at a central point and expands out 15ft from that point, and the Air Genasi stands exactly on the edge of the spell's focus of 15 feet away, then they can see within 10 feet of the cloud.
Example 2: If the Level 2 Darkness spell is cast at a central point and expands out 15ft from that point, and the Air Genasi stands exactly 5 feet away from the edge of the darkness's 15 foot range, then they can see within 5 feet of the cloud.
Example 3: If the Level 2 Darkness spell is cast at a central point and expands out 15ft from that point, and the Air Genasi stands exactly 10 feet away from the edge of the darkness's 15 foot range, then they can not see within the cloud and will have to move closer.
Example 4: If the Level 2 Darkness spell is cast on the Air Genasi and expands out 15ft from that point, and the Air Genasi is therefore at the center of the cloud, they can see a full 10 feet within the cloud, but will not be able to see the last 5 feet of the cloud's range.
