You suffer from bipolar disorder, a condition that causes extreme mood swings between periods of mania and depression.
When you experience a manic episode, you gain a temporary bonus to your Charisma or Dexterity score, but suffer a penalty to your Wisdom score. During this time, you are more impulsive and prone to reckless behavior, and have disadvantage on Wisdom (Insight) and Wisdom (Perception) checks.
When you experience a depressive episode, you suffer a penalty to your Charisma or Dexterity score, but gain a bonus to your Wisdom score. During this time, you are more withdrawn and have difficulty expressing yourself, and have disadvantage on Charisma (Persuasion) and Charisma (Deception) checks.
You must roll a Wisdom saving throw whenever you are triggered by a stressful event or emotionally charged situation. On a failed save, you are unable to control your emotions and may act out in a way that is harmful to yourself or others.
