Prerequisite: Intelligence 13 or higher and the ability to cast at least one spell inflicting acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder damage
You have learned a powerful ritual that allows you to bind your powers to an element. During a short or long rest, you can perform the ritual. When doing so, you have to choose one damage type between acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder (you need to be able to cast a spell inflicting the chosen damage [the spell is prepared or always known). The ritual gives you the following benefits:
- You can cast the Absorb element spell at 1st level without expending a spell slot. When doing so, this spell can be used only with the chosen damage type. After that, you can't use that feature until you make this ritual again.
- When you cast a spell that inflict a type of damage listed in that feat, you can replace the damage type by the one chosen during the ritual.
