Acolyte Of Ejypt Image

You have been blessed by the gods of Ejypt with the ability to temporarily inhabit the form of one of their favoured creatures. This feat has 3 charges and it regains all expended charges daily at dawn. You can use your bonus action to magically assume any one of the following forms:

  • a cat (MM p320) for 4 hours
  • a tabaxi (MPMM p33) or leonin (MOT p20) for 1 hour
  • a lion (MM p331) for 1 minute

You can revert to your normal form earlier than the specified times by using a bonus action on your turn (you will then need to use another feat charge to transform back to a feline form again). You automatically revert if you fall unconscious, drop to 0 hit points, or die. You can use your daily charges in any combination you wish (e.g. you can turn into a cat three times or be a tabaxi twice and a lion once etc).

For the cat and lion forms, follow the same “While you are transformed” rules as the Druid lv2 Wild Shape feature (PHB p64) e.g. cannot cast spells while transformed.

For the tabaxi and leonin forms, you retain all of your ability scores but your appearance physically changes (apart from your height). You gain the tabaxi or leonin racial abilities and movement speeds for the duration of the transformation (except for learning extra languages) but lose access to any of your original racial abilities. You retain the benefit of any features from your class, background, or other source during this transformation e.g. spellcasting.
