Prerequisite: Must be able to cast at least 1 spell
With a shout of command the still tattoo of a tiger on her arm suddenly moved and appeared to swipe a claw at the enemy, as this happened the casters eyes narrowed into cats pupils and she suddenly had the grace of a cat.
An individual who takes this feat gains the ability to create a magical tattoo on themselves or another person provided the requirements are met.
- An enchanted tattoo can contain the power of any spell that the player knows and can be used once per long rest. When the spell is cast from the tattoo it is cast with the artists spell save DC or spell attack modifier. If the spell requires concentration the tattoo will maintain the concentration, allowing the caster to have two concentration spells up at once.
- In order to create a tattoo the artist must have skill in painting or tattooing and a tattoo kit.
- Creating the tattoo is an expensive and time consuming process that is not guaranteed to succeed. The magical inks required total 1000 GP and 8 hours of time per level of the spell being inscribed as well as any material component costs of the spell. In addition a tattoo artist (DEX) skill check with a DC equal to 12 + the level of spell being tattooed must be passed. Failure causes the tattoo to magically evaporate from the skin as if it was never there.
- An artist can inscribe a maximum number of tattoos on a person equal to 1/2 their character level (a 12th level tattooist can inscribe 6 tattoos on a person).
- Casting the spell from the tattoo requires an action and a verbal command only.
