It is common knowledge that all Tieflings share some level of demon ancestry, clearly noticeable by their demonic appearance. For most Tieflings, this aesthetic is where their connection to that ancestry ends.
However, if a Tiefling happens to be a descendant of one of the more powerful Demons who “corrupted” their bloodlines, other demonic traits have been known to manifest themselves;
The ancestry of the Demon Lord Azazel flows through this Tiefling. His status as a powerful descendant is confirmed as, without warning, he feels a dull discomfort radiating from his shoulder-blades, followed by a swift popping sensation as two immense wings unfold themselves seemingly from within himself. Black as the abyss and made of a scarred leather, this Tiefling now finds himself with a great gift. For those Tieflings who strive to walk a righteous path however, they serve as an ominous reminder of their origins, and how it might overtake their very nature.
-Flight: Flying speed of 30 ft.
-All other actions (range/melee attacks, area of effect, etc…) remain unaltered.
-If player loses consciousness in flight, this results in them immediately falling from whatever height there were flying at, and automatically failing a Death Saving Throw (due to falling damage once they hit the ground).
-Cannot take flight while wearing heavy armor (The nature of the wings were to allow a demon flight, as such, they wouldn’t have been capable of the load capacity for heavy armour)
