Prerequisite: Swimming Speed
You are perfectly adapted to water, and you are always alert of your surroundings when you are in this element.
- Your swimming speed increases by 10 feet, and you can hold your breath underwater for twice as much.
- When you are fully submerged in water, you gain a bonus to your Passive Perception equal to half your proficiency bonus (rounded up), and you cannot be surprised by creatures within 40 feet of you.
- You can sense and smell other creatures, even underwater. You gain advantage on Survival and Perception checks that rely on sight or smell to track down underwater creatures within 400 ft. of you.
