Kindhearted Guardian

Your compassionate nature and concern for the well-being of others make you a protective and supportive ally. You gain the following benefits:

• When you use the Help action to aid an ally in combat, you can also grant them temporary hit points equal to your level + your Wisdom modifier. These temporary hit points last until the start of your next turn.
• When an ally within 5 feet of you takes damage, you can use your reaction to reduce the damage by an amount equal to twice your Wisdom modifier (minimum of 2). You must be able to see the ally and the source of the damage to use this ability.
• Your kindness and empathy make it easier for you to form connections with others. You gain proficiency in the Persuasion skill. If you are already proficient in Persuasion, you can choose another skill from the following list: Insight, Medicine, or Performance. Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make using the chosen skill.
