You are or have become a half-dragon either from having a polymorphed dragon that mated with your other parent, a mad wizard’s spell, or a ritual in dragon’s blood. As a half dragon you can’t procreate. If you wish to, you must almost always resort to magic. By way of compensation, you are blessed with long life. Your life span is twice that of your nondraconic line. You inherit personality traits common to your draconic heritage. For example, half-gold dragons are often shy and secretive, while half-copper dragons are impish and playful. Half-green dragons are deceitful, while half-white dragons are often dim-witted brutes. The traits are tempered by your other lineage, but greed, arrogance, and paranoia are qualities that even good-aligned half-dragons often possess.
Being a half-dragon grants you the following benefits:
Senses. You gain blindsight with a radius of 10 feet and darkvision with a radius of 60 feet.
Resistances. You gain a resistance to a type of damage based on your color.
Dragon | Damage Resistance |
---|---|
Amethyst | Force |
Black or copper | Acid |
Blue or bronze | Lightning |
Brass, gold, or red | Fire |
Crystal | Radiant |
Emerald | Psychic |
Green | Poison |
Sapphire | Thunder |
Silver or white | Cold |
Topaz | Necrotic |
Languages. You speak Draconic, in addition to any other languages you know.
Breath Weapon. As an action, you can replace one of your attacks with an exhalation of magical energy in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 15). On a failed save, the creature takes 7d6 damage of the type associated with your Dragon. On a successful save, it takes half as much damage.
You can use your Breath Weapon once, and you regain the expended use when you roll a 6 from a d6 to recharge at the beginning of your turn.

Creator here. Due to current homebrew feat limitations, the damage resistance won’t actually show up in resistances, but just okay as if you have that resistance. Thanks for understanding.
