Time and effort spent mastering the culinary arts has paid off. You gain the following benefits:

Ability Score Increase. Increase your Constitution or Wisdom score by 1, to a maximum of 20.

Tool Proficiency. You gain proficiency with Cook’s Utensils. If you are already proficient with them, you add double your proficiency bonus to checks you make with them.

Taste Tester. As an action, you can inspect a drink or plate of food within 5 feet of you and make a DC 16 Constitution (Cook’s Utensils) or Wisdom (Cook’s Utensils) check. On a success you determine whether the dish is inedible, poisoned, or otherwise unsafe to ingest.

Hearty Meal. As part of a short rest, you can cook special food, provided you have ingredients and Cook's Utensils on hand. You can prepare enough of this food for a number of creatures equal to 4 + your proficiency bonus. At the end of the short rest, any creature who eats the food regains up to 2 expended hit die.

Improved Rations. With one hour of work or when you finish a long rest, provided you have ingredients and cook's utensils on hand, you can cook a number of treats equal to 4 + your proficiency bonus. These special treats last 8 hours after being made. A creature can use a bonus action to eat one of these treats or feed one to a creature within 5 feet of them; consuming one of the treats grants a creature temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus and gives them advantage on saving throws they make against poison for the next 10 minutes.
