Your Power source is now malfunctioning. It now exerts more power than it should, but you know with great power comes great opportunities for electrocution.

Electronet. As a bonus action, you gain the ability to suffuse a net you own with negative electric energy, enervating the target you snare and imposing disadvantage on any saving throws they make until the end of your next turn.

As your level increases, you gain the following benefits:

5th level. Your dragonshard rapidly generates a dangerous amount of excess energy when you get excited. Any time when you succeed on an attack roll with a melee weapon and you roll the highest possible number on the damage die, you must call out a die (1d4/1d6) (known as Surge die) and you must add the surge die as lightning damage to your damage roll against your target. When this happens, you take the total possible damage as damage to yourself. This effect must chain if you roll the highest possible damage multiple times.

9th level. Your ability to handle the supercharge is increased. The total surge die you may call out can be expanded to include 1d8.

13th level. The total surge die you may call out can be expanded to include 1d10.

You learn to have some level of control over your core. You can choose to arc the lightning when you call an surge die of any number to any other creature that is hostile to you within 5 feet of your melee target. You must roll only one surge die for each creature hit by each arc lightning, and you accept the damage from those rolls as well.

17th level. You have mastery of your cracked dragonshard. The total surge die you may call out can be expanded to include 1d12.

You now only take half damage from any surge die you use.

Once per dawn, You can now absorb all damage you've taken from surge die and release it in a overloading surging burst. Keep track of all the damage you've received within the last hour that was caused by surge die. As an action, you may release all of the energy stored centered from you in a 40 foot radius sphere. Each creature within the area must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes lightning damage equal to the total amount of stored energy and incapacitated. On successful save, it only takes half as much damage. Allies to you have advantage on this save.
