You have been cursed with Lycanthropy of the Wereraven. A rarity for taking on the form of a bird rather than a mammal, the transformation into a wereraven is particularly unpleasant, due to the differences in anatomy, and rarely undertaken lightly. These were-types are also one of the few types of lycanthropes to prefer a vegetarian diet, usually feasting on nuts and berries instead of meat. Wereravens tend to be curious souls, eager and quick to learn, though wary of outsiders until they have proven trustworthy. Wereravens are careful and secretive, but always abide by local laws and try to do good whenever possible. Upon contracting this curse, you now gain the following attributes:
Shapeshifter: You can use your Action to polymorph into a raven-humanoid hybrid or into a small raven, or back into your true form, which is humanoid. Your statistics, other than your size, are the same in each form. When transforming into a raven, any equipment you are wearing or carrying is dropped at your feet. You revert to your true form if you die or fall unconscious. You can transform a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier per long rest, but each transformation lasts up to a number of hours equal to your Constitution modifier, minimum of 1.
Flyby: You gain a fly speed of 50 ft in both your hybrid and raven forms. Moreover, you don't provoke opportunity attacks when you fly out of an enemy’s reach.
Natural Weapons: You gain the following attacks while in your hybrid or raven forms:
- Beak (Hybrid or Raven Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: Dexterity modifier + Proficiency modifier to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1d4 + Dex modifier (piercing damage). If the target is a humanoid, it must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw, or be cursed with wereraven lycanthropy.
- Talons (Hybrid or Raven Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: Dexterity modifier + Proficiency modifier to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1d4 + Dex modifier (slashing damage).
Raven Mimicry: While in your hybrid or raven form, you can mimic simple sounds that you have heard, such as whispering, screams of pain, or the cries of a wild animal. A creature that hears the sounds can identify them as imitations with a successful DC 13 Wisdom (Insight) check.
Raven's Swiftness: Increase your Dexterity score by 2, to a maximum of 20.
Keen Sight: You gain proficiency in the Perception skill. You also gain expertise with that skill, which means your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make with it.
Unnatural Resistance: While in your hybrid or raven form, you are resistant to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing from nonmagical attacks that aren’t silvered.
