You excel at handling a weapon with one hand while not wearing anything in your off-hand. By your attacks, you force your opponent to be less precise and you can profit to make a quick riposte. As long as you fight with a weapon that is not heavy and you have nothing in your off-hand, you get the following benefits:

• You get +1 AC.
• When an opponent make an melee attack with a disadvantage against you and miss, you can immediately use your reaction to make an opportunity attack against him.
• When you target an opponent with a melee attack during your turn, you can use a bonus action to give him a disadvantage on his next first attack that will target you before your next turn begins.
