Prerequisite: Must be a warlock with Orcus as a Patron.

Description: The Eye of Orcus is a formidable feat granted to warlocks who have formed an extraordinary connection with their patron, Orcus, the Blood God. With this feat, the warlock gains an uncanny insight into the actions of their enemies, allowing them to anticipate and react with enhanced precision.

Feat Benefit:

  • Once per Long rest rest, when a hostile creature within 60 feet of you takes an action, you can invoke the Eye of Orcus. Roll a d20 and add your spellcasting ability modifier (Charisma) to the roll.
  • If the result is 15 or higher, you tap into the supernatural knowledge bestowed by Orcus. You gain an immediate understanding of the enemy's next action, allowing you to anticipate their moves.
  • The insight granted by the Eye of Orcus provides you with a distinct advantage in countering the enemy's action. You can choose one of the following:
    • React to the enemy's action with advantage on your next attack roll against them.
    • React to the enemy's action with advantage on your next saving throw against their effects.
    • React to the enemy's action by imposing disadvantage on their next attack roll against you.

The Eye of Orcus serves as a potent tool for warlocks, enabling them to exploit their foes' vulnerabilities and adapt their tactics accordingly. This heightened perception of an enemy's next move allows the warlock to react swiftly and strategically, gaining a crucial edge in combat.

It is essential to remember that the Eye of Orcus is not infallible. The warlock's insight into the enemy's next action is influenced by their connection to Orcus and the unpredictable nature of battle. Circumstances may change, altering the predicted course of events. However, with the Eye of Orcus, the warlock becomes a formidable force, always one step ahead of their adversaries.

Mastering the Eye of Orcus requires a deep understanding of the warlock's pact with Orcus and the ability to attune to the Blood God's powers. As the warlock's bond with their patron strengthens, the insight granted by the Eye becomes more reliable and profound, aiding them in their relentless pursuit of power.
