Melee combat is deadly, and missed opportunities are the bane of warriors both novice and adept. You've learned to take advantage of the split seconds within an opponent's quick dodge or raised shield, giving you time to dive out of the way of their counterattacks.

• When you miss an adjacent enemy with a melee weapon attack, you may move up to 5 feet as a reaction. This movement does not prevent attacks of opportunity if it otherwise would.
• When one of your allies misses an enemy adjacent to you with a melee weapon attack, you may use your reaction to grant the ally the ability to Disengage as a bonus action until the beginning of your next turn.
