Dustbringers are the most destructive of the order of Radience. Embued with great destructive power, members of this order value great self control for their abilities could destroy huge swaths of land. Dustbringers have access to the Surges of Division and Abrasion
After bonding to an Ashspren and speaking the 1st oath the Dustbringer has access to the following abilities.
Division - The most dangerous of the surges, this surge causes objects to burn, degrade, or turn to dust. Unlike some other surges this can be used on living beings. Spren restrict the full use of this surge until later oaths due to it's massive destructive potential. You can use the Division surge a number of times up to 1+ WIS modifier.
- Basic Obtuse Division - Touch a specific point and cause the area up to 10ft to either turn to dust, crack and break, or catch fire. If performed on the ground it creates difficult terrain
- Basic Acute Division - Make an unarmed strike against an opponent using WIS instead of STR or DEX, on a hit deal an extra 1d10 necrotic damage to target
Abrasion - A Dustbringer has an ability to increase or decrease the effect of friction on an object or person. You can use the Abrasion surge as an Action up to a number of times 1+ your DEX modifier. The effect lasts for 1 round
- Reduce Friction - When you reduce friction on a person the following effects occur
- Speed increases 15ft
- AC +2
- Immune to Grapple or being restrained
Resonance - The Dustbringers surges disconcert most people due to their natural destructive power giving advantage on all Intimidation checks
