Lightweavers were the Radience's information gatherers and infiltrators. While Lightweavers have a reputation for lies and manipulation, members of the Lightweavers value truth and self awareness in their actions. Lightweavers have access to the Surges of Illumination and Transformation.
Once bonded with a Cryptic a Lightweaver has access to the following abilites.
Illumination - The Lightweavers ability to create and manipulate illusions are unmatched. A Lightweaver can use the surge of illumination a number of times equal to 1 + your CHA modifier. (Choose 1)
- Enhanced Disguise Self - The Lightweaver can cast disguise self not just on themselves but also can expand a use of the spell to a number of people equal to their proficiency bonus
- A lightweavers disguises can also change their voices to match the person they are impersonating
- Spren Illusion - after taking a memory of a person you can spend a surge to invest your spren with an illusion of that person. The Cryptic can mimic voice, actions, and behavior for up to 1 hour
Transformation - The most dangerous surge that Radience have access to. As you develop your oaths the danger reduces but is never absent. The Surge of transformation allows you to change aspects of the planes into something else. You can use this surge a number of times equal to 1+ your INT modifier
- Basic Transformation - You can change something of tiny size into any other material (wood to stone, stone to metal, metal to grain, etc.) The new material keeps it's original shape unless it is changed into something that cannot keep that shape (ex. Water). This does not work on living things. When you enact a transformation roll a d100, on a 60 or lower the spell fails and a calamitous effect occurs. (This danger reduces as you make your oaths)
Resonance - A lightweavers resonance gives them an unapparelled memory. At will you can take a memory of anything you can see and remember it perfectly forever.
