You have practiced techniques useful in melee combat against spellcasters, gaining the following benefits:
- When a creature within 30 feet of you casts a spell, you can use your reaction to make a weapon attack against that creature so long as your weapon can reach them, at your current position. if this attack hits the creature is forced to make a concentration saving throw against the damage imposed by this attack (half the damage, rounded down + the modifier of the ability being used to make the weapon attack). if the caster fails their concentration check they fail to cast the spell and lose the associated slot or mana, on a success the caster finishes casting the spell.
- When you damage a creature that is concentrating on a spell, that creature has disadvantage on the saving throw it makes to maintain its concentration.
- You have advantage on saving throws against spells cast by creatures within 5 feet of you.
