Functional Shapeshifting

You have practiced shapeshifting as other races to the point that you can gain additional benefits from creatures you mimic, this could entail seeing through the eyes of a dwarf, breathing through the gills of a triton, or slashing with the claws of a tabaxi:

• Increase your Dexterity,  Constitution, or Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
• You learn the darkvision and alter self spells and can cast either one on yourself once without needing components or expending a spell slot. You regain the ability to cast it in this way when you finish a short or long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for this spell.
