Prerequisite: Ability to cast at least one spell

  • Whenever you cast a spell of 1st level or higher, you must expend two spell slots of the same level to cast it. For example, casting a 1st-level spell requires expending two 1st-level spell slots, casting a 2nd-level spell requires expending two 2nd-level spell slots, and so on. This does not apply to cantrips, which are unaffected by this feature.

  • You learn six cantrips of your choice from any spellcasting class. If you have access to a class-specific cantrip list (such as the sorcerer's), you can choose cantrips from that list. Otherwise, you can choose any cantrips from the general spellcasting cantrip list.

  • As an action, you can choose to cast a cantrip and expend a spell slot of 1st level or higher. The cantrip's effect is doubled, as if you had cast it at the next level of its spell slot. For example, if you use a 1st-level spell slot, a cantrip that normally deals 1d6 damage would deal 2d6 damage instead. This ability can only be used once per turn.

  • You gain a +1 bonus to your spell save DC and spell attack rolls.
