The Caster can utilize any shadows he comes into contact with. When they step into the shadow, they walk into an inter dimensional plane of suspension, where time crawls and distance becomes arbitrary. The user stands in a black void, peering through available shadows they can exit from as though looking through a one way mirror.

While in the void, the caster is immune to any new status affects or attacks unless pursued by someone using the same ability. Any status affects or damage received prior to stepping into the shadow still remains. Time inside the void moves at a 1:10 minute ratio, where 1 minute in the void passes as 10 in the regular plane.
