Battlemaster Mage

You have honed your martial and spellcasting skills, seamlessly blending them to become a formidable close-quarters combatant. You gain the following benefits:

• Spellguard Stance: By forgoing your movement, you can assume a steadfast defensive stance. Until the start of your next turn, you gain a bonus to your AC equal to half your proficiency bonus.
• Arcane Precision: When making a spell attack roll you can choose to take a -5 penalty to the roll. On a hit, the attack deals an additional +10 damage.
• Arcane Weapon Mastery: While wielding an arcane spell focus that can also act as a melee weapon, other creatures provoke an opportunity attack from you when they enter the reach of that weapon.
• Close Quarters Combat Expertise: The presence of hostile creatures within 5 feet of you no longer imposes disadvantage on your ranged spell attack rolls. You have honed your focus and accuracy.
• Spell Disruption: Whenever a creature within 10 feet of you takes damage from your melee or spell attacks, they have disadvantage on concentration saving throws.
• Arcane Weapon Enhancement: Through a one-hour ritual, you can empower a magic melee weapon that you are proficient with to serve as an Arcane Weapon. Once the ritual is complete, the weapon becomes infused with arcane energy with a bond only for you it can now function as an Arcane Focus. This ritual requires a spellcasting focus and consumes a gem worth 50 GP. If you wish to bond with another weapon, you must break the bond with your current Arcane Weapon.
