You may perform a ritual using the remains of any flesh and blood creature who has died in the last 8 hours. If you maintain direct contact with the remains for 1 minute, during which time you concentrate, you magically absorb what little life remains, regaining 1d8 hit points. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
