Acrobatic Proficiency

Confused at the benefit of picking this over a feat like skilled. 

you wouldn't get it 

Skilled lets you get proficiency in Acrobatics, not Acrobatic.

That’s just a worse skill expert or resilient. or am I missing something?

Because this was made as a homebrew thing for my players before I found out you can just edit their PC sheet and give them the expertise. I only shared this because I thought I had to for my players to gain access.
