With each hit, you chip away at their defenses, overwhelming them with the weight and power of your attacks. The Devastating Strikes feat grants the following benefits:
You gain proficiency with heavy weapons, such as greatswords, greataxes, and mauls.
When you score a critical hit with a heavy weapon, you can roll one additional damage die. The extra damage die is the same type as the weapon's damage die. This additional damage is not doubled on a critical hit.
Your attacks with heavy weapons gain a +1 bonus to the damage roll.
Whenever you hit a creature with a heavy weapon, their Armor Class is reduced by 1 until the start of your next turn. This reduction stacks with each hit. The target's AC returns to normal at the start of your next turn.
You gain a +1 bonus to your Strength score, chosen when you take this feat.
