
You specialize in the magic of the humors, commanding the emotions of the body as easily as you command its diseases. You gain the following benefits:
- You have spell prowess with pathomancy spells (see below for information on spell prowess).
- The spells contagion, friends, heroism, and weird are added to the spell list of your spellcasting class.
- When you stop concentrating on a pathomancy spell, you can choose to have the spell persist as though you were still concentrating on it until the start of your next turn. The spell ends immediately if you begin concentrating on any other effect.
- When a creature fails a saving throw against the effects of one of your pathomancy spells, you may have that creature become unable to regain hit points. Also, if the spell was not a cantrip, you may choose one ability score. If you do, the creature has disadvantage on ability checks made using that ability score, and while the creature is poisoned or has any exhaustion, its speed is also reduced by half. These effects last until the end of its next turn or your next turn (whichever comes later).
Spell Prowess
Spell Prowess is a new feature for spellcasters. If you have spell prowess with a spell, you gain a bonus to the damage rolls of that spell equal to half your proficiency bonus.
In addition, when you attempt to cast a spell at a spell level equal to or less than two-thirds of your proficiency bonus and you have spell prowess with that spell, you can choose one of somatic, verbal, or material components to ignore for that casting of the spell. You cannot use this to ignore material components that are worth more than 10gp, and you can't ignore a component if the spell requires no other components.
