Prerequisite: Attunement to the Epic Magical Quill
You have mastered the arcane intricacies of the Epic Magical Quill, harnessing its powers to enhance your spellcasting abilities and expand your repertoire of spells.
- You gain a +1 bonus to your Intelligence score and arcana skill checks.
- You can use the Epic Magical Quill to acquire new spells. Starting at level 5, you can choose to learn a new spell. The spell must be from your class's spell list and can be of a level equal to or lower than your current highest level spell slot.
- You must spend 8 hours attuning the quill to the new spell. During this time, you magically infuse the quill with the essence of the spell. After attuning the quill to the spell, it becomes a part of your regular spell repertoire.
- Additionally, when you attune the Epic Magical Quill to a new spell, you gain an extra spell slot of the spell's level. This additional spell slot can only be used to cast the spell you learned with the quill.
- You do not need to spend gold or find spell scrolls to learn spells with the quill. It automatically absorbs the necessary arcane knowledge when attuned to a new spell.
