Companion of the Shrouded Desecrator

Prerequisite: Caster level 4th or higher, must have encountered and survived an encounter with the Shrouded Desecrator

The caster has formed a peculiar and unsettling connection with the Shrouded Desecrator, a being of immense power and malevolence. This connection has granted the caster a measure of protection, tying the casters life force to the continued existence of the Shrouded Desecrator.

Benefit:

• Immortal Tether: While the Shrouded Desecrator is alive and present within the same plane of existence, a supernatural bond forms between the caster and the creature. This bond ensures that the casters health can never reach the precarious threshold of 0 hit points. Whenever your current hit points would drop below 2, they are instead treated as if they were at 10 hit points. This effect persists as long as the Shrouded Desecrator remains alive.

Special Note:

• This feat represents a unique connection between the character and the Shrouded Desecrator. It is highly recommended to discuss its inclusion with your Dungeon Master, as it involves a significant alteration to the normal rules of hit points and character mortality.
• The feat's effects only apply while the Shrouded Desecrator is alive and within the same plane of existence as the character. If the creature is killed, the feat's benefits no longer apply.
• The intent of this feat is to add a thematic element to the character's story and provide a sense of otherworldly control tied to the Shrouded Desecrator. However, it is important to balance this benefit appropriately within your campaign to ensure it does not unbalance encounters or trivialize combat situations.
• Casters with this feat are immune to the effect Spatial Flux of the Terminus spell.
