Artificer Initiate (Official Artificer Initiate Feat)

You have acquired a portion of the resourcefulness possessed by an artificer:

• You acquire the knowledge of one cantrip chosen from the Artificer spell list, as well as one 1st-level spell of your choosing from the same list. These spells rely on your Intelligence as their spellcasting ability.
• The 1st-level spell granted by this feat can be cast without expending a spell slot. However, after casting it in this manner, you must complete a long rest before being able to do so again. Alternatively, you can use any available spell slots to cast the spell.
• You attain proficiency with a specific type of artisan's tools, which you can choose. Furthermore, for any spells that use Intelligence as their spellcasting ability, you can utilize that particular type of tool as a spellcasting focus.
