You are proficient with improvised weapons.
When you roll a 17 or higher with an improvise weapon, it counts as a crit. However, you still need to pass the AC of the target to hit. And on a successful crit the target gains one of the one of the following effects of your choice, the creature must make a dex saving throw (DC 15) or be knocked prone and getting up will take all their movement instead of half. Deal an additional +12 bludgeoning damage (this isn’t doubled by a crit), or the target must make a dex saving throw (DC 15) on a fail for 1 minute the creatures speed is halved. On a success it only lasts until your next turn
When you hit a creature with an unarmed strike or an improvised weapon on your turn, you can use a bonus action to attempt to shove or grapple the target.
