- You gain expertise with smith's tools, meaning that your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make that uses smith's tools.
- Whenever you finish a long rest, you can change the damage type of a bludgeoning/slashing/piercing weapon that you are proficient with to a different damage type (bludgeoning/slashing/piercing), provided that you are currently in possession of smith's tools.
- This alteration may only be in effect on one weapon at a time. If you try to alter a new weapon in this fashion, the previously altered weapon reverts to its usual state.
