As a reaction you can increase your Initiative Score by one by sacrificing a Hit Point, this damage can not be negated or reduced, and you can sacrifice as many Hit Points as you wish.

Posted Jul 13, 2023This one is interesting, as I prefer to think of HP as stamina or fatigue than literal blood loss or significant wounds. I might consider randomizing it a bit, so there’s less calculation and more risk. Perhaps the feat user can roll any number of d6, with the total being the initiative boost and damage taken. Maybe the die type could change, or the number of dice could be based on proficiency modifier. It’s a good base concept to develop!
The title is going to get this unpublished, at least temporarily.. Homebrew titles can’t start with a special character like a parentheses, a numeral, or the letter A followed by a space (A ____). It’s meant to curb abuse of the alphanumeric sorting system (it’s failed to do so, but the RAW stands).
If you want to tag your entries by campaign, you could use a colon after the tag, like GoS: The Quick and the Dead. It would also be cool to see the campaign name in the description, like Campaign: Guns over Starfall, or whatever your intended title is.
