You’ve learned to manipulate your chakra, causing you to grow additional tails and transforming you into Kyubi. You gain the following benefits:
- Increase your Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
- Your true form grows an additional tail upon gaining this feat. You can grow additional tails using any of the methods described on pages 10-11, provided the GM agrees that growing an additional tail is an appropriate reward for your deeds during the campaign. The GM determines the rate at which you can acquire additional tails, though you typically can’t have more tails than half your level (minimum 2).
- You learn the Dancing Lights cantrip.
- You learn one 1st-level bard spell of your choice. This spell must be from the enchantment, illusion, or transmutation schools. You learn an additional spell for each new tail you gain beyond the second; this new spell can be one level higher than the previous tail’s spell (for example, your third tail grants you a spell of 3rd-level or lower, your fourth tail grants you a spell of 4th-level or lower, and so on). You can cast a number of spells from among those you’ve gained from this benefit equal to your proficiency bonus without expending a spell slot. Spells that are cast in this way are always cast at a level equal to the number of tails you possess. You regain the ability to cast these spells when you finish a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
Prerequisite: Race, Kitsune
Author's Note: D&D Beyond does not have a way to track uses of all of the spells granted by this feat in the way described above. As a result, a charge tracker will be added to your Actions, and all spells granted by this feat will be labeled as "At-Will". There is no way around this that I have found so far, you (or your players) will need to manually track the charges of the feat, as well as the level of the spells and which spells were granted by this feat. Having them flagged as "At-Will" should help with that. There is also no way to automatically restrict spells to the 3 listed schools. You (or your players) will need to manually check to make sure the spells you are selecting are all within the listed schools of magic.
