Either through intensive training or natural in born prowess, you have learned to become more adaptive and versatile in combat, changing up weapons and tactics quickly, using a greater variety of styles and specializations, improving more as you grow, and adjusting to the situation as it arises. You gain additional fighting styles, both immediately and at certain points as you level up. You also can more easily and safely swap weapons in combat, not having to drop one to pull another, but quickly stowing one an drawing another. You also know how to better use your abilities in new ways.

You gain additional Fighting Styles, from any Fighting Style List, equal to your Proficiency Bonus minus 1 (This means classes that gain a fighting style normally would still have one more fighting style than those that don't normally get one, but a Variant Human Wizard could start off at Level 1 with this and choose a single Fighting Style).

You can swap weapons, sheathing/holstering/hooking/stowing one and drawing another as part of any attack (potentially juggling weapons if you have multiple attacks, as well as being able to swap weapons as part of a reaction when making an attack of opportunity).

Since you gain additional Fighting Styles, as your Proficiency Bonus goes up, you would gain further Fighting Styles when it does.

If you have a feature that grants a Fighting Style normally, you can swap your Additional Fighting Styles any time you would be allowed to swap out your Class Feature Fighting Style.

Class Features that are normally limited to melee only or ranged only are now usable with either.

Gain a Half ASI in an ability of your choice.
